What Propaganda Does to Us

We live in a day and age where propaganda is a perpetual form of war. What makes propaganda so dangerous is not only its effectiveness, but also the fact that it is everywhere we turn. It’s in our pockets, on our phones, on our computers and televisions, and it comes in the form of literature, often growing consciously or unconsciously within subcultures. Not all propaganda, of course, is intended to have a negative effect, and exposure to foreign and new ideas is part of the American cultural fabric.
But when does it turn into rhetoric?
